Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam

I’m a second-year art student in IADT, I have a great interest in photography, I love capturing moments that people wouldn’t usually pay notice to.
This particular photo was taken in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. I was fascinated by the illusion created by the crowd of people in front of this painting. The painting was looking right back at them as if there is no border, the painting was flowing into real life. The difference in the styles and expressions of the characters in the painting in comparison to the crowd reflect on how society has progressed, but at the same time, how the interest and love of art has remained the same.
