Shawn Galligan • He/him • Author of “The Blood Witch”, “Drainage”, and “Dún Laoghaire” 

Shawn Galligan is a student and writer of fiction and poetry from Boston, currently studying in Dublin. He takes a particular interest in the workings of complicated, unpleasant women and sad, queer men. You can find his work in UMass Amherst’s ‘Jabberwocky’ journal, and ‘The Scribe’ magazine. ‘The Blood Witch’ aims to explore the idea of blood as a source of both social transgression and interpersonal understanding. That which disgusts us, such as blood, can also bring us together.
