My journey in the art world has been quite different from what my younger self envisioned growing up in the Liberties. I’ve encountered a mix of truly kind individuals and some who are quite exclusionary. Thankfully, I was fortunate to have enriching experiences through initiatives like spray painting after school clubs and NCAD’s CASS program, which I highly recommend to aspiring young artists.
Because of these experience I want to contribute positively to the lives of emerging creatives by making art education more accessible and engaging, whether as a teacher or an art director.
