My name is Garvan Ó Deaghaidh, and I am a second-year student studying English with Creative writing. My work mainly focuses on prose, with short stories being my favourite medium of expression. This piece, in particular, was inspired by a true story of sorts, or at least one presented as such by the person who told it to me. With its writing style and second-person narration, I hoped to capture the horror and guilt a person would be faced with had these events occurred in their life.
